PASCAGOULA, Miss. — Ingalls Shipbuilding’s union workers agreed Monday to accept a three-year extension to their contract, taking the current agreement to March 2018. The agreement includes incremental raises and a bonus. The proposal was agreed upon by the company and the Pascagoula Metal Trades Council and local chapters of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, United Federation of Special Police & Security Officers and Office and Professional Employees International Union. The International Association of Machinists did not ratify the agreement, but the union has asked for continued discussion. (Source: Mississippi Press, Sun Herald, 12/01/14)
