Incubator businesses doing well

PASCAGOULA, Miss. — A survey by the city of Pascagoula in February shows Anchor Square businesses doing well. In an effort to gauge the economic impact of the small businesses at Anchor Square, the city’s Community and Economic Development Department administered the survey. Anchor Square, which opened in August 2011, is a city-managed small-business incubator on the waterfront. “Overall, the survey showed that Anchor Square is home to primarily new entrepreneurs who overall are doing very well,” said Jen Dearman, community and economic development director.
