Huntington Ingalls Inc. – Ingalls Shipbuilding, Pascagoula, Miss., was awarded a $48,532,386 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification for the execution of USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) emergent repair and restoration. This effort provides for the additional collision repairs as well as maintenance and modernization of USS Fitzgerald. Work will be performed in Pascagoula and is expected to be completed by May 2020. Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $48,499,489; and fiscal 2017 other procurement (Navy) in the amount of $32,898 were obligated at time of award, and contract funds in the amount of $48,499,489 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
