JACKSON COUNTY – Renovations are underway at Singing River Health Systems hospitals in both Pascagoula and Ocean Springs. Ocean Springs Hospital’s $17 million renovations include a three-floor tower expansion. The first floor will house the expansion of the pre- and post-surgical area and the congestive heart failure clinic. The second floor will contain 20 patient rooms, bringing bed capacity to 156. The third floor will be left open for future expansion. Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula is undergoing similar renovations, including updating the first three floors on the eastern side of the front tower. (Source: Sun Herald, 08/04/13)
