OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. — Growth in West Jackson County has led to expansion at Ocean Springs Hospital, where a $16.5 million renovation project is now complete. Renovations include expansion of the pre-surgical and post-operation areas and the relocation of the heart failure clinic to the northwest tower. On the second floor, 20 new state-of-the-art patient beds were added, bringing the capacity to 156. The third floor, though not currently operational, is available for future growth. Singing River Hospital, about 20 miles east in Pascagoula, is also undergoing a makeover with about $30 million in upgrades on the exterior and the first three floors of the east wing.
