PASCAGOULA, Miss. — Jackson County Board of Supervisors President Troy Ross gave the annual State of the County address before Pascagoula Rotarians today and said residents should be encouraged by the overall state of Jackson County. “Even in an economy that has been struggling, Jackson County has continued to see expansions with some of the major corporations, as far as Chevron’s big (premium base oil) project and the project at the port,” Ross said. “We’re seeing substantial economic investment in Jackson County, and I think that’s a good sign.” (Source: Mississippi Press, 02/26/14)
