PASCAGOULA, Miss. — First Federal Savings and Loan has been named the top bank on American Banker magazine’s list of the “Best Banks to Work For.” First Federal won in the under $3 billion in assets category. Thirty-five banks were listed in the inaugural program. The savings and loan of Pascagoula-Moss Point was founded in 1955. It was the first federally chartered savings and loan association in Jackson County. It has six branches in Jackson County with more than 50 employees and assets exceeding $200 million.
