Museum expansion ribbon-cutting held

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. – There was a Friday afternoon ribbon-cutting for the expansion of the Walter Anderson Museum of Art. The approximately 2,000-square-foot expansion provides a larger entry with an open-space gift shop, a meeting room expansion and two galleries, both of which are permanently dedicated to Anderson exhibits. The expansion was made possible through a $700,000 federal grant and $180,000 contribution from the Jackson County Board of Supervisors. (Source: Sun Herald, 02/15/13)
